Currently I have two main priorities. First is my one-man studio MIST where I develop websites and apps for clients. The second priority is building a house together with my gf.
Home
The house process is coming along. We bought the property in 2020, got our building permits last year, and have just finished the architectural drawings. Everything is cleared with the bank and we have talked with lots of contractors.
Recently we had to re-apply for three permits, and are awaiting final approval in the next 4-5 weeks.
Work
Spring is always a very busy season. Heading into a hectic May where I have to juggle three medium sized project in parallel.
Health
My main goal this year is a 13K trail run in October here at Nesodden, called Hardhausen. During winter I focus on strength training, and spring/summer/fall is focused on running. I try to run three times a week, increasing the weekly distance at a slow pace.
Hobbies
I also try to read a few books. My goal for 2026 is to read 20 books. You can follow me on Goodreads to see what I'm reading. I love to see what others are reading to get inspiration for my next book.
A side project I'm working on is vandaler.no. It's my database over my Norwegian hip-hop collection. It spans from 1983 until about 2010 or thereabout. I have redesigned the website, but not have time to implement it. I mainly use the Sanity backend to register what I own and what I'm looking for, but thought why not create a frontend to display the info I have. There's much more data to come, and I think I have a lot of info not available on the Internet elsewhere. My collection consists of about 470 releases out of about 924 (50.86 %).
While not strictly a hobby, I starting doing driving lessons. Two hours each week. Trying to do this fast and efficiently.
Gardening is one of my favourite activities, and there are lot’s of stuff to do in the garden this time of year.
