Miri Liu
Hi! I am a CS PhD student at UIUC. I previously studied Computer Science and Mathematics at UCLA. I grew up in Frederick, Maryland, and in my free time I like crosswords, reading, translating poetry, and playing guzheng.
I'm working on (textual) AI for scientific discovery with Professor ChengXiang Zhai and Professor Jiawei Han. Before that, I did undergraduate research with Professor Nanyun Peng in the PLUS Lab, and enjoyed interning at Microsoft and Balyasny Asset Management.
