My name is also spelled as "Niall" but is pronounced the same as the more common "Neil" but i don't know how i'd go about editing the article or if i even should.

Including pronunciations for names is always tricky. Many names will have multiple spellings and multiple pronunciations, because they are often as individual as the people who have them. In your case, we probably should list a second pronunciation since I think I've heard that pronunciation (at least in the US) as often as the traditional Irish pronunciation. You simply have to add "or /niːl/" inside the IPA template. I'll do that for you. --EncycloPetey 23:00, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
