[edit]The word rikosrekisteri properly denotes a national registry, and the record of an individual's convictions is rikosrekisterimerkintä (“item in the conviction registry”) or rikosrekisteriote (“excerpt from the conviction registry”). The latter word is rarely used in informal speech.
