Marin Mot is a Romanian rugby union coach and a former footballer. He played as a hooker.

He had 10 caps for Romania, from 1980 to 1988, scoring 2 tries, 10 points in aggregate.

He won as a coach the title of National Champion with Steaua Bucureşti Rugby, for the season of 2006/2007. Mot was nominated coach of Romania in October 2007 and was in charge until May 2008. He also coaches Bucureşti Rugby.
