Onela

Ale was the brother of Ottar. When Ottar died, Ale became king.

According to Beowulf, Ottar's sons Adils and Emund rebelled against their uncle and fled to king Harald of Geatland, the son of Hygelac.

In revenge, Ale attacks the Geats, but is killed together with Harald and Emund.

Adils became the next king of Sweden.
