"Automatic High" is a song by British pop group S Club Juniors, released as the second single from their debut album, Together (2002). Released on 22 July 2002, the song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, becoming their second single to reach the position.

Composition

Stacey McClean sings the first verse, the second part of the third verse, part of the song's bridge and backing vocals in the end of the song. Daisy Evans sings the second verse and part of the song's bridge. Frankie Sandford sings the solo's parts in every chorus and backing vocals in the end of the song. Rochelle Wiseman sings the first part of the third verse. Calvin Goldspink, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings and Jay Asforis do not have any solos in this song.

The video shows a airplane, which lands. The girl juniors’ walk out the airport with their luggage on luggage trollies. They end up dancing on the beach abroad in Alicante, with Franks enticing the boys to dance with them. They start to look confused and embarassed, with Asforis lying down on the bench near them. In the end, they laugh, and get up to dance alongside them. In other shots, the boys become tiny and appear in the sandcastles the girls are building. There are also slo-mo shots of Evans somersaulting in mid-air, as well as Sandford jumping high in the air. Later in the music video, there are clips of them go-karting and burying Goldspink in the sand when he falls asleep on the beach. Goldspink then leads the band to sand dunes, which they jump over and run down. The closing shot is the band among the palm trees, dancing.

In 2020, Asforis did a series of Instagram live interviews with the members of S Club juniors. Franks recalled how they wanted to dance in bare feet in the music video for Automatic High, and doing so resulted in their feet getting burnt as the ground was so hot in the sunny weather.
