Derrick Norval Walker[1] (born June 23, 1967 in Glenwood, Illinois) is a former professional American football player who played tight end for nine seasons for the San Diego Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oakland Raiders.
Walker played for the Michigan Wolverines from 1986 to 1989. He played high school football at Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Walker was the key contributor for the 1984 Bloom team which won a conference championship for the first time in recent memory.[2]
Walker is divorced and currently resides in suburban Detroit, Michigan.
