Born Ione Skye Leitch in Hertfordshire, England on September 4, 1971, Ms. Ione Skye has enjoyed a long career as a movie actress. A luminous beauty, she has graced the screen in over three dozen films. Her most popular success was in the 1989 film "Say Anything" - a high school romance of uncommon quality. In 1992 she shone in the independent film "Gas Food Lodging" as Trudi, a sexual young waitress struggling with uncertain prospects along with her single mother and younger sister Shade (Fairuza Balk) in the American Southwest. She had her film debut in the dark documentary-like "River's Edge" in 1987. She continues to enjoy a career as a working actress in many films and stage productions.

Ione Skye married her second husband David Netto in March of 2001. They have a daughter Kate. Her first husband Adam Horowitz (married 1991-1999) is a member of the popular musical group the Beastie Boys. Her father is the 1960s singer Donovan Leitch.
