Katariina Souri (born 27 October 1968 as Minna Katariina "Kata" Kärkkäinen) is a Finnish author, artist and columnist, who first gained fame as a glamour model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for December, 1988. Her face – with a "Louise Brooks bob" and clear blue eyes – was frequently featured on the cover of Playboy special editions. On January 25, 2010 Kata Kärkkäinen announced that she changed her name to Katariina Souri.
After her international modelling career, she started to work as a writer in her native country, first as a television script writer and then as an author.
Katariina Souri has an IQ of at least 148 (sd 24) according to Cattell & Cattell Culture Fair IQ test (see Ilta-Sanomat, 5 Oct 2006).
