Pars Air (Template:Lang-fa, Hevapimaii-ye Pars ) is an Iranian private airline company headquartered in Shiraz. The airline was established in 2015 and commenced operations in 2021. Pars Air is the only Iranian airline company that utilizes the Bombardier CRJ200.[1]

History

Pars Air was first established in 2015 under the registered name of Pars Ocean Kish with the goal of becoming the country's first regional airline. However, the airline did not commence operations for the next 5 years due to the challenges caused by the US Sanctions against Iran which hindered their ability to add various planes to their fleet. The airline was finally able to launch operations in 2021 after purchasing 3 CRJ200 aircraft and to this day is the only airline in Iran that operates this type of aircraft. [2]
