Fair use rationale for Image:WBAL RGB.gif

Image:WBAL RGB.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Article outdated

I can't edit it myself due to WP:COI as a WBAL employee, but somebody might want to update it to reflect our current schedule and personalities. For example, we don't run Overnight America isn't in our schedule and Fermier is no longer with our station. Furthermore, some of the personalities listed don't work here at all and are in fact national voices.

Furthermore, the article claims all our talk hosts are conservative. Mitchell is in fact a former Democratic legislator who now considers himself an independent. To be fair, though, he did endorse Republican Robert Ehrlich for governor and serve briefly in his administration. Matter of opinion, I suppose.--Aresef (talk) 14:44, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COI would still allow you to suggest a source here if you would like to. -- Pemilligan (talk) 18:38, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would refer you to Mitchell's own wiki page. As for Fermier, I would ask you to consult our staff and schedule pages on wbal.com.Aresef (talk) 05:16, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The website's schedule is confusing. It says at the same time WBAL AIRS Peter Schmuck, WBAL also airs Overnight America. I don't know which is correct, and can't make an adjustment without a 3rd party verification.Stereorock (talk) 18:45, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

FM repeater

Can't edit myself , again due to WP:COI, but we've got an FM repeater now: http://www.wbal.com/article/347575/3/wbal-newsradio-1090-now-on-1015-fm

Somebody might want to work that into the entry.--Aresef (talk) 16:44, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Needs update

Hi, me again. We've had some schedule and personnel changes. Brett Hollander has left us for the Orioles and C4 and Bryan Nehman share the morning show.--Aresef (talk) 17:08, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request

I am Tyler Waldman, one of the people listed as a contributor on this page. I no longer work at the station. Due to NPOV/COI concerns, I don't think I can make this edit myself.--Aresef (talk) 19:05, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done: there was no source cited for the proposition that Waldman works at WBAL, therefore, I have removed it as a challenged, uncited claim. Best, Altamel (talk) 03:11, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. While I've got you here, Kristie McIntyre's name is misspelled. --Aresef (talk) 03:24, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Done per [1]. Altamel (talk) 03:32, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting update

The section on the station's talent is woefully outdated. There are names that are misspelled, there are names I don't recognize and there are people like Yuripzy Morgan and Stacy Lyn who are long gone. For reasons earlier stated, I can't touch this page myself but somebody should get in there and freshen the page up.--Aresef (talk) 19:48, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
