Hi! Thanks for welcoming me.

Those who have anything to say about my contributions please feel free to put it down here. I am quite new here and I may not be able to write great articles, but I will try my best and definitely improve with the feedback and encouragement from fellow Wikipedians.

Thank you! Jam2k 20:00, 10 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please change the name of Jamshedji Tata to Jamshetji Tata. This was the founders actual name, though i still can't figure out why the name of Sakchi became Jamshedpur. Thanks Ratan

I have moved contents of Jamshedji Tata to a new page with his real name. Made the old page a redirect. Thank you. Jam2k 16:22, May 27, 2004 (UTC)

Hi. Please disambiguate "Java" on your user page. For example, Java. Thanks. RedWolf 00:28, May 12, 2004 (UTC)

Never noticed. Thanks for pointing it out, RedWolf. I've corrected that link now. Thank you. Jam2k 08:49, May 12, 2004 (UTC)

Hi - please would you contribute to the discussion on format of definitions in Talk: Cricket (sport). Thanks. -- ALoan (Talk) 10:31, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Vacation's over. College re-opens tomorrow. I don't think I can visit Wikipedia often, not for another 6 months atleast. However, I will try to contribute when I find time. Thank goodness I'm getting away. I think I was just starting to become a Wikipediholic! Dreams about Wikipedia were becoming more constant. A break will help me return to normalcy, I hope. And I really hope I don't ask my teachers if I can edit the questions on my tests! Bye all!Jam2k 12:28, Jun 8, 2004 (UTC)

Reverting on Gmail

When you revert an an edit by someone like you did here say so in the description of the edit, the standard format is Reverted edits by 216.209.178.250 last version by Ævar Arnfjörjð Bjarmason, what you certanly must not do is to do an unexplained revert and mark it as minor so that people will think you just fixed a spelling error or something. -- Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 14:45, 2004 Jul 23 (UTC)

    • Sorry about that! I'll do that when I revert edits hereafter.Jam2k 15:27, Jul 24, 2004 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Indian wikipedians' notice board

Hi. I would like you to be an active member of Wikipedia:Indian wikipedians' notice board. utcursch 07:29, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)

Off for 2 months

I'm completing my degree this year and hence have to start working on my project full-swing from tomorrow. So I will not visit wikipedia till March atleast! I'm going to miss this, but my project is more important now. Bye Jam2k 19:34, Jan 1, 2005 (UTC)

Well, generally a death of not well-known person isn't important news, therefore I moved the notice from events to 'Recent Deaths' section. But in this case, as my current Google test shows, I could be wrong, because I see many people write about this.

While restoring this item to current events body could be a good idea, I would suggest doing it only if somebody will write an article somehow connected with this, either by starting Makgatho Mandela itself, or by expanding the corresponding sections of Nelson Mandela.

Let other people do something, I will agree with all ideas. ilya 19:45, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I'm Back

Hi all. My project presentation is finally over and i'm officially reporting back to duty in Wikipedia. I can contribute regularly till July, after which I'll start working in a software firm. But even then I'll still find time to do some valuable edits... Jam2k 13:53, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
