Brian Denaro

Any chance of turning this over-illustrated series of lists into an actual article?. If I had a sense of humour I would fild the table of epaulettes almost as funny as all the effing medal ribbons, but I don't.TheLongTone (talk) 15:41, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sent the article (which several editors thought looked like a resumé) back to Draft:Brian Denaro so that editors can work on the article further, as it's not yet ready for mainspace. Cielquiparle (talk) 19:20, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Garrant

Garrant will assume command of SSC on 1 February 2024. For your info, if you haven't found it already. Have a nice night! SuperWIKI (talk) 14:23, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Air Force planning restructuring of 4-star and 3-star commands

Per POLITICO. It wouldn't take effect for a few years if implemented. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/02/air-force-command-overhaul-00139297

Too many moving pieces for this to be implemented as currently planned. They Navy couldn't even rename U.S. Fleet Forces Command back to U.S. Atlantic Fleet, let alone restructure all of their major commands as a whole. Neovu79 (talk) 00:49, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, seems like it needs a lot of tweaking before it ever happens. EPMen (talk) 05:43, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hurry promoted

Maj Gen Hurry has been promoted to Lt Gen. Not adding anything till I see a date of rank on her linked bio - it's not there on my end. SuperWIKI (talk) 03:34, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hurry's DOR is January 13, 2024 as noted on the link you provided. Neovu79 (talk) 03:59, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not there on my end - I've noticed that updates on Congress.gov and military websites come late in my geographic location. SuperWIKI (talk) 04:59, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's definitely there.
Neovu79 (talk) 05:16, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent. Dunno what my browser's doing. SuperWIKI (talk) 06:07, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MG Richardson

@EPMen and Neovu79: Shame - we have a potential casualty from the Tuberville hold. MG John B. Richardson IV, who was nominated and confirmed to be LTG and the next First Army commanding general, retired early this February. SuperWIKI (talk) 01:43, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Very unfortunate. I think there was another actually but it hasn't received attention because it was a Brigadier General nominee. It appears Jose E. Sumangil (USAF) is working a civilian job per LinkedIn. He had been nominated for Brigadier General and confirmed. @SuperWIKI EPMen (talk) 03:53, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
