VIPS is a restaurant chain in South Korea owned by the CJ Foodville of CJ Group. Its operations span China. CJ Foodville plans to set up some 100 restaurants in China by 2017.[1]

As of 2015, the chain has 112 retail stores in South Korea.[2] But with various reasons related with the spending culture in South Korea, its stores reduced steadily. In 2018, VIPS maintain 75 stores for sale.[3] VIPS recognized the crisis, and they are making various changes for sales growth. For example they are changing the store concepts and interior relevant to the targets that live near the store.[4]
