Inclusion criteria

[edit]

A habitat is somewhere that something lives - so things as diverse as an iceberg, the Sahara Desert, a human head and a cell can all be habitats. I propose that we limit this category to articles specifically about the role something has as a habitat - e.g. removing articles such as Puddle and Evergreen forest from the category (a puddle is a puddle regardless of whether there's any life in it and categories like Category:Temperate coniferous forests are a better home for articles about types of forests). This would be a step towards tidying up this category and hence establishing what difference (if any) there is between this and Category:Habitat. DexDor (talk) 05:42, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
