In May 2024, Faustino defeated 5-time world champion and world #1 ranked Magnus Carlsen during a weekly Bullet Brawl tournament hosted by Chess.com.[3][10][11]
He holds the world record for the youngest International Master, a title which he earned in June 2024 at the age of 10 years, 8 months, and 16 days, breaking the record of Abhimanyu Mishra.[12]
