Summary

Description
English: Interior of The Anchorage, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. Interior of the hall, with hunting and feasting murals on the walls by Fred Davis. Photograph commissioned by the Well Fire Co (the subject recorded in the Bedford Lemere daybook as looking towards the dining room). The murals were burnt in a fire circa 1977.
