Marine transport crash on Mt. Rainier in December
[edit]I notice there isn't any mention of the crash on Mt. Rainier on Dec. 10 (see any Spokane paper for Dec. 11) Missing and presumed dead were 32 Marines. The plane wasn't found until the following August. At the time, it was the most killed in any air crash in U.S. aviation history, as I recall from reading news articles in the course of researching another topic.
