Relation of mental disorder classification and sports
[edit]I was going to clean up this sentence - "If this was the case, there would be a 10-15% increase in mental disorders in sports." from the third paragraph of the introduction (to add something like "it is estimated" and "reported cases" most likely) but checking on the reference at http://www.gborienteering.org.uk/images/uploaded/downloads/international_squadtrainingbook7_sportsanorexia.pdf I got confused. The link mentions "10-15 times" rather than 10-15%, and while the last sentence of that paragraph in the article gets to the point of the link, finding a better wording is giving me a headache - or at least is more than the small tweak I thought this was going to be. We may be able to just get rid of the sentence - even if we shape it up to be accurate, it feels like an aside rather than part of a summary - but I don't feel right doing that without feedback. Is there somebody who sees that paragraph a little more clearly than me who can fix that up? 2601:280:5601:8D00:941C:995D:E761:5D55 (talk) 21:41, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- I agree that the reference doesn't at all say what that sentence is saying, and the reference regardless seems to be more of an opinion or estimate rather than fact-based information. 204.40.194.136 (talk) 18:20, 17 May 2024 (UTC)

Hypergymnasia → Anorexia athletica – Academic literature shows clear preference for the term "anorexia athletica" over "hypergymnasia" [1], which would support WP:COMMONNAME. Both titles follow WP:NPOVTITLE. "Anorexia athletica" is currently a redirect page, and shows significant usage [2] [3], but not as much as the current article title.
