When I visited the St. Charles factory around 1980, I was told that Hawley made the shells for American Tourister hard sided luggage. At the time there was a series of AT commercials showing gorillas trying but failing to destroy the luggage. 50.0.36.121 (talk) 18:13, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
