Name
[edit]I don't think there's supposed to be a question mark after the name of the album. The album cover just has some kind of graffiti symbol after the name. 85.166.234.27
It makes sense, my man. It unmistakably a question mark at the end there Gabriel Texidor 05:06, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
The title is MM..Food because 1. it is an anagram for MF Doom 2. if you look on the cover of Doom's first album you see the same circle and the question mark. So the title should also be changed in the article. Danphil7 (talk) 17:03, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed. as the non-registered user above says, it's just some graffiti symbol. or however it's called. Operation: Doomsday has the same graffiti, but saying MF DOOM instead of Mm..Food. Does that mean his first album was released under "MF DOOM?", with the question mark? No, it doesn't. ≤ alvareo [speak to me] ≥ 14:40, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Samples
[edit]I believe that Potholderz has a sample of Still D.R.E. in it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.137.243 (talk) 02:44, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Naming
[edit]When naming an article, "logic" should not be used (i.e., it's an anagram), but rather reliable sources, see: [Amazon], [Pitchfork], [Entertainment Weekly], [Allmusic]
When did we pick up a space?
[edit]I thought I remembered this album being called MM..Food almost unanimously, but looking around now this article and others intermittently include a space, often contradicting occurrences on the same page. So which is it? Pixel Eater (talk) 23:27, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- According to the label itself, this album is "MM..FOOD". At the very least the page needs moving to Mm..Food which is currently a redirect. In my opinion the page and all instances of the album should be called MM..Food, but I can't quite decide if this can possibly meet MOS:CAPS. I always run into trouble when I attempt to swap a redirect with the page it points to, so maybe someone can help me understand how exactly. Pixel Eater (talk) 14:01, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
