Unsourced production companies

[edit]

Please don't add production companies without citing a reliable source, as you did in this edit. Like other content on Wikipedia, this needs to be properly sourced. In many cases, editors guess at these companies based on the logos they see on promotional material. Some of these companies could very well be production companies, but others are likely to be investors, rights holders, etc. Sometimes editors also want to "give credit where it's due" on their own initiative. This includes animation companies or other services that no reliable sources identify as production companies. This is why we let sources decide who the production companies are. If everyone just added whoever they thought should belong in the infobox, it would become bloated with a bunch of entries that are not actually production companies. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:24, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If it is for my edition in A Very Merry Pooh Year, I have added the company again, this time with a reference that was already in the article. I don't know if that reference will be acceptable. - BrookTheHumming (talk) 09:43, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can tell, the phrase "Disney Animation France" does not appear on page 340 of that book. Can you quote the sentence where it appears? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:19, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I strongly suggest that you respond to me. If you're adding hoax citations, this will need to be cleaned up. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:11, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, I only used a reference that was already in the article. If it is incorrect, then it should be removed from the page. BrookTheHumming (talk) 09:52, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you refusing to quote the line from the source that says this? Did you add a hoax citation? Do not ignore this question. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:17, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have already resolved it, and I have changed the studio to Walt Disney Television Animation. My fault, since, as I said, I did not place that reference in the article, but when I saw it next to the name of that studio I assumed that it was a reference that stated that it was involved in the production.- BrookTheHumming (talk) 01:06, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disney Villains

[edit]

The Disney company that owns the villains only consider 11 of them as primary members I don't know why but it's not 13 that was just a game in the merchandise. CourageousMarie (talk) 00:32, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I guess the reason there's 11 because of Chernabog because he's from Fantasia and it wasn't a regular Disney film it was an anthology film. CourageousMarie (talk) 00:34, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But it only has 11 on Disney wiki CourageousMarie (talk) 00:54, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Check in with the Disney Company and look up Disney Villains on Disney wiki on fandom. CourageousMarie (talk) 00:36, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disney Villains

[edit]

Do you not know 13 Reflections of Evil was sub-franchise from 10 years ago they don't count all of them as primary members ask the Company and franchise. BelBott (talk) 19:35, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Truth

[edit]

Fine I don't really care for Disney villains any I was trying to make things make sense. BelBott (talk) 19:49, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What I really is to explain that Ghostface is not one of the most recognizable horror characters cause he's not a character he's an identity. BelBott (talk) 19:54, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet accounts

[edit]

FYI the accounts you have recently been reverting at List of Disney villain characters are sockpuppets of a long term vandal. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jinnifer. You can just report these to WP:AIV when you notice them, with a brief explanation and a link to the SPI case. MrOllie (talk) 20:03, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know, I know. A few days ago the user was with the same topic of "Disney villains", also editing about slasher films... Too much of a coincidence if they were two different people. If in the future this user does these editing wars again with another account, I will follow your advice to report it. - BrookTheHumming (talk) 20:16, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Sariel Xilo (talk) 15:46, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
