Hello. I notice that you're making town plans (c21 so far) showing the locations of Italian cathedrals and adding them not only to the individual cathedral articles but also to the List of cathedrals in Italy. I should let you know out of courtesy that I've removed them from the list. There are several reasons for this, but principally because the list entries themselves are quite brief and these large plans completely dominate them; they distort the appearance and reduce the usability of the page overall. Also, if you add one to every single entry it will make the page extremely large for little gain, and possibly even push it over the top size limit. If you feel strongly that the list needs to contain extra geographical information, you could consider adding the relevant {{coord}} link to each entry instead. - I am very sorry for my tactless wording. There is nothing unnecessary about the maps themselves, which add to the individual cathedral articles, where I hope you will continue to create them. My concern, as above and also on the Talk page, is about their effect en masse on what is a very long central reference page. Once again, apologies: I find it v difficult to find the balance between discussion and WP:BOLD.Ingratis (talk) 15:42, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Ingratis: We can very well think that maps are a problem on a list, but what is discouraging is your way of proceeding : I delete a few hours of work without warning or notice. I explain then only.
