Salamin Salamin article

[edit]

Can you also create salamin salamin by Bini since they are number 4 on billboard charts and second viral song after Pantropiko? 122.54.102.0 (talk) 10:51, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will try, but if I were you I would also ask the one who expanded the article: Freedom_Wall. I could create it as a redirect for now, though. Vida0007 (talk) 11:51, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, a redirect is good for now. Will see how much it can be expanded on later. Thanks. Freedom Wall (talk) 07:19, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Already done. Thank you for the reply :) Vida0007 (talk) 15:25, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A fellow fan

[edit]

Just looked at your userbox and saw you are a Spurs fan! Same here, man. And you are interested in tropical cyclones and you like Coldplay, like me. Just thought that'd be worth noting :) Shmego2 (talk) 02:22, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shmego! Glad to know that I am not alone in this world on those three (Spurs, TCs and Coldplay). Thanks for this message. Much appreciated :) Vida0007 (talk) 08:39, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Normalization

[edit]

Well, whatever you said makes no sense. Andrew should be included. I guess when the damages are no longer enough for the top 10, then Andrew could be left off. That will happen soon. Delectable1 (talk) 06:36, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to see you elaborate as to why you think that whatever I said makes no sense. For starters, Milton's damage estimate – $30 billion – is greater than Andrew's $27.3 billion. You say "that will happen soon", but as of this writing, it already happened, and that is because of Milton; unless of course, Milton's damage estimates would be revised to an amount that is lower than that of Andrew's $27.3B. To be fair, there's a chance that scenario can materialize, as damage overestimations occurred in the past, most famously with Harvey in 2017 (which was initially estimated to have caused $198 billion worth of damages). If that happens, that's the only time that Andrew could – or shall I say, would – be reinstated in the Costliest US Atlantic hurricanes template. Vida0007 (talk) 06:52, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It has not happened yet. Look up what Andrew's damages would be in 2024 dollars. Delectable1 (talk) 22:18, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. That is why Andrew is included in this one: Template:Costliest U.S. Atlantic hurricanes by wealth normalization. Andrew was never removed there; you can even check the edit history of that one. Milton was added in the Costliest U.S. Atlantic hurricanes template (which is unadjusted for inflation and wealth normalization), not in the other template that was mentioned. Did you get confused by that? Vida0007 (talk) 00:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Consider the following: people are not going to see that template. It appears a solution would be to include both templates on each of the articles where one is included now. Delectable1 (talk) 08:00, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Both articles now feature those respective templates though. Milton's article already features the template for costliest U.S. hurricanes, while the wealth normalization template has been in Andrew's article for eleven days now (see here). Do you still have a problem with that? Vida0007 (talk) 14:15, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is the wn template in the article for Milton? Delectable1 (talk) 21:22, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, because that template only includes storms that existed from 1900 to 2017. Vida0007 (talk) 02:44, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why would it only be on one article? It should be in the Milton article.Delectable1 (talk) 21:21, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently you're busy. I am asking this question. Why would it be in one article, Andrew? It should be in the article for Milton and others. Delectable1 (talk) 11:28, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are baffling me for almost a week now. How many times do I need to reiterate that the wealth normalization template shall only appear on Andrew's article because post-2017 hurricanes – including Milton – are not yet included in that (unless, of course, that gets revised soon)? Vida0007 (talk) 09:58, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, baffling is not all bad. It should be different. I will try to be plain here. I don't understand why both tables are not on each article for the Top 10 worst (for each of the charts). If you want me to argue why it should be that way, alright. Delectable1 (talk) 05:31, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you agreeable with asking how the two charts could appear on each page where a storm on the list is mentioned? Delectable1 (talk) 07:57, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will also make it simple, because this has been going for weeks now: The two tables/charts cannot appear on both because Milton is only qualified to appear on the first one (the costliest US hurricanes template), while Andrew is only qualified to appear on the second (the costliest adjusted for wealth normalization table). Vida0007 (talk) 14:51, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't realize we're going for basics. I propose a rule change if necessary. To put both sorts of tables on each article where it's pertinent (it is possible to append or adapt the charts). I will repeat... if someone doesn't even know to look at the wealth normalization table they won't know of its existence or the storms mentioned. for some reason i call you my “eternal enemy” becuase @MarioProtIV decided to pick your draft for Fourteen instead of mine. Still angry at you. LemonJuiceIsSour (talk) 03:43, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, were you formerly HurricaneKirk2024? I initially did not recognise you, sorry. And as for your sentiment, I think that is no longer my fault anymore, but I commend you for your honesty. Vida0007 (talk) 10:01, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I am formerly HurricaneKirk2024. I changed my username because it was recommended by @Hurricane Clyde. 🍋 🍋(talk!) 11:18, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@LemonJuiceIsSour, @Vida0007; you know there is a template called {{noping|Insert username}} for mentions where you don’t want the other pinged. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 13:41, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And furthermore; I have to agree with @MarioProtIV on this. @Vida0007’s draft has the right name and more details. @LemonJuiceIsSour; you’re still learning, don’t take it too personally; you still tried, that’s the most important thing. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 13:43, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ok thx for the help :) 🍋 🍋(talk!) 15:11, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
