Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie is a 2024 American live-action/computer-animated adventure comedy film based on the animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. It is a spin-off in the SpongeBob film franchise. It premiered on Netflix in August 2, 2024.

Directed by Liza Johnson. Produced by Robert Engleman. Screenplay by Tom Stern and Kaz.

Dialogue

[After a big claw scoops up Bikini Bottom rises up into the surface]
Sandy: What the heck is going on?
SpongeBob: I don't know, Sandy. But except for you and Sparky, Bikini Bottom and everyone I ever loved… is gone. [sniffles with his eyes welling up] And all my streaming videos on demand… I can't demand them anymore! [lies on the ground, sobbing intensely]
Sandy: I gotta get to the bottom of this.
[Krabs, being startled, hears a meow, then drops the umbrella. His color goes away, but he regains it when he notices that the meow came from Gary]
Gary the Snail: Meow.
Mr. Krabs: Gary, go home.
[Gary looks sad as he slithers back to SpongeBob's house]
Randy: Uh-oh! The gum I use to keep the engine together is wearing out.
SpongeBob: Oh! Sandy can fix anything. Let's wake her up.
Randy: Now hold your britches there, Mr. Pants. She ain't the only one who's good at mechanical science.
Sandy: Oh, Ma, you knew my love of science would always win out over the circus. I'm the first-ever scientist squirrel to live in the ocean.
Ma Cheeks: But you were already the first-ever water skiing squirrel. And we miss our little star.
[SpongeBob is placed in the cloning machine]
SpongeBob: It's hot in here. [the cloning machine zaps him] I feel funny. Hey, what's happening? [SpongeBob starts splitting into tinier versions of himself from his body, starting with two tiny SpongeBobs] Hello, little me! [more tiny SpongeBobs appear from his hands] That's weird!
[One tiny SpongeBob appears from his nose as Mrs. Puff, Fred, Larry, Gary and Sandy watch in horror]
SpongeBob: Which one is the real me?! [two more tiny SpongeBobs appear from his teeth]
Two Tiny SpongeBobs: [appear from his eyes] Hey, good lookin'!
SpongeBob: I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM ANYMORE!!!
[SpongeBob explodes into even more tiny SpongeBobs from his body as Squidward babbles in horror, Kyle covers his head with his hat and Sue Nahmee watches on]
Sue Nahmee: Perfect! Now give it a little time for them to grow to actual size.
Sandy: [viciously] Sue Nammy! You're an embarrassment to scientists everywhere!
Sue Nahmee: It's "Nahmee."
Sandy: Really? I've always said "Nammy." Oh, I'm so sorry. Uh… Oh, wait! You evil villain! How dare you scoop up my friends for profit!
Sue Nahmee: I'm doing something great and beautiful thanks to your scientific research, Cheeks!
SpongeBob: Ladies and gentlefish, Bikini Bottom and the Krusty Krab proudly presents… the Cheeks Family Circus!
Granny Cheeks: Don't try this at home!
