Gudiya Rani[1][2][3] (transl. Doll Queen) is an Indian Hindi drama television series which was aired on Dangal under the banner of Bodhi Tree Multimedia Pvt Ltd on 19 August 2024.[4][5] It stars Mahi Bhadra and Puvika Gupta.[6][7][8]
Plot
editSix-year-old Rani from Peepariya sacrifices her freedom, becoming a living doll for Pari, the indulged daughter of a wealthy family, to save her starving family. As years pass, she endures cruelty, but when Pari's marriage crumbles and her life is threatened, Rani fights to reclaim her identity.

editDevelopment and casting
editThe series was announced by Bodhi Tree Multimedia on 7 July 2024 and it was confirmed by Dangal TV.[9][10] As child actress, Mahi Bhadra, Puvika Gupta, Krip Suri and Ashlesha Sawant were signed to play their roles while Ekta Tiwari also signed to play the antagonist role.[11]

editThe first promo of its show was released on 27 July 2024 and featured Mahi Bhadra, Puvika Gupta and Krip Suri.[12]
