Capacity
edit@Doug Weller: What is the real capacity of the arena, some source claim its 135000, others 130000, an editor added 110000 in infobox ground. Figure should be consistent. Tesla car owner (talk) 14:18, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

- @Tesla car owner The permanent capacity is 110000 and can be extended to 135000 if needed with seating arrangements in ground for some special event. For its primary purpose of cricket is 110000. For example 110000 is the strength for matches and for events like Namaste Trump it was extended to 135000. This is where this confusion aroused. ShaanSenguptaTalk 15:35, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- The seated capacity is 110,000 as stated by the architects. Across Wikipedia, when a stadium's capacity is stated, it refers to the seated capacity- for example the capacity of wembley is stated as 90,000 even though for concerts/boxing it can hold over 98,000. With additional seats (or standing places) on the pitch, the capacity of the Narendra Modi Stadium can supposedly reach 132,000. Take a look at pictures from the cricket events with record attendances of approx. 100,000. There are not 32,000 empty seats. 80.169.129.214 (talk) 12:59, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
Map and logo needed
editMelbourne Cricket Ground have a ground's map and logo in infobox and infobox ground respectively. I don't know how to create it, but if anyone have expertise in it, should create it for this arena. Tesla car owner (talk) 08:42, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
- I added the specifics of the request and the location to the requested map template. Transpoman (talk) 12:48, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
Name
edit@Doug Weller: Hi, I want to have your opinion on this stadium's name. In 2015 GCA scrapped old Saradar Patel stadium, it no longer exists. In 2020 they inaugurated the new stadium and named it Narendra Modi Stadium (NMS). So the new arena was never named as "Saradar Patel stadium" (SPS). It'll be ok, if I removed word "it was renamed NMS" to 'it was named NMS.' Tesla car owner (talk) 08:07, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Seems ok. Doug Weller talk 06:51, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

Separate page for Narendra Modi Stadium
editLittle of the old Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium remains. The pages of the two stadiums should be separated, like with Wembley. SundførTannhauser (talk) 21:46, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
