Right Honourable?
editWhen did Marshall Andrews get admitted to the Privy Council?
several observers
editthe "several observers" part could be disputed. For ex the Tory MPs present never aknoweledged BMA mentioning the word faggot
- I'm not in the least surprised that Bob's Tory mates would deny that. MRDA, as they say. But I've got the sources and added them, and they are quite clear: it is observers, in the plural. David | Talk 23:45, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm not surprised that people like Barry Sheerman would back Dowd either. I wouldn't be surprised that the "observers" would end up being all Blairite New Labour MPs.
- I'm not a sufficiently verifiable source for the article, but if anyone's fretting on a personal level, don't. I know personally, via a mutual friend with whom Bob was speaking the next day, that he seemed as surprised as anyone else to be accused of saying faggot, and to find that folk didn't seem to understand faggio. I note none of "observers" have come back and contradicted him. And trust me, I would be as annoyed as everyone else if I thought he were guilty as charged. So, no bias then?
editWell this is a nice, neutral page, isn't it? I'm not actually going to slap POV and cite templates on it - yet. But it would be nice if you could add refs and clean it up yourself. I've removed and brought into line a few of the worst examples. But your description of M-A on the election night doesn't quite match what I saw - I seem to remember him being told by someone he'd lost, and asked for comments, which hardly constitutes "announcing" it. It would be best if you could provide refs (to the film? How?). Otherwise I will have to delete the whole para as being unverifiable in one direction or another; this would be sad, as I agree with you it's a nice bit to include ("I'm Lazarus", he was reported to have commented).
