Reception
editThe article says the Millennium Earl and his demonic army of Akuma intend to destroy humanity, but forgets to mention Noah. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gigi 1021 (talk • contribs) 03:05, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
See the sentence beginning with "Set in the 19th century, it tells the story of a young Allen Walker, who...". Should this be "a young exorcist, Allen Walker, who..."?
See the sentence beginning with "During Summer and Q3 2008". Should this be "During the Summer and Fall of 2008"? Or does "Summer" and "Q3" identify the title given to a particular period by the media which rated D.Gray-man? Folklore1 (talk) 01:41, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- Please disregard that question. I just noticed the answer in the reference title. Folklore1 (talk) 01:50, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Plot
editSee the sentence beginning "The Noah frees him to rescue Allen". Who is "him"? And which Noah (14th or 15th) frees him? Folklore1 (talk) 22:14, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
It would be helpful to sepreate the plot of two different series.
There could be a section that indicates the name of each episode.
Production
editSee the sentence containing "the state of Allen and the other main characters". I'm not sure what "state of" refers to. Is this about a "state of mind" or a geographical location? Folklore1 (talk) 22:23, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Hiatus
editI think the article ought to be edited to mention the publication of this series has now been halted for more than two years. The word was first that it stemmed from the mangaka's poor health, however it has become a conflict between her and her publishers about changes to bring (or not!) in the personality of the characters and where the story was heading to.
Most of the sources are in Japanese, but I found this one in English, for the rest, for more evidence or details, I'll leave the web searching in your hands: http://forums.mangafox.me/threads/518024-Ongoing-series
Wouldn't you think the article needs to be edited ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.208.100.146 (talk) 13:06, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Reception Review
editI think the Reception section is becoming very long and may have too much detail. In any case I would recommend splitting it into sub-headings such as Manga, Anime, and maybe also a separate section for Hallow Manga/Anime. Ozflashman (talk) 11:25, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Personally, I think maybe Sales, Rankings, and Critical response (or more elegant heading titles for the first two, though it seems the paragraph about sales is about the manga so Manga sales) would be more appropriate? The actual portion itself about critical reviews isn't really all that long (compared to, like, FAs I've seen). ~Cheers, TenTonParasol 13:59, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- I tried splitting it now. What do you think?Tintor2 (talk) 14:11, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- The structure definitely helps, possibly still a bit too long though. Ozflashman (talk) 18:55, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Ozflashman: Trimmed a bit more the sections. Tell me when it's enough.Tintor2 (talk) 23:21, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't think a long reception section is necessarily a detriment. ~Cheers, TenTonParasol 02:10, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
