My first experience with Wikipedia, like that of many people I'm sure, was when I was goofing off at work. I remembered someone at work getting a "round tuit" and in an idle moment, I looked it up in Wikipedia. It wasn't there. I was easy to create an article, so I did, and I was amazed that my article actually existed now. My BABY. That article is now here, after many changes and being moved to the dictionary from the encyclopedia.
My interests are varied. As a volunteer here, I'll probably continue editing and adding as I have anonymously in the past -- when I read or think of something interesting, and I want to know more, I'll look it up in Wikipedia. If it's not there, or I can make a valid contribution, I'll take a little time to do so.
I'm a former zoologist, lawyer and UNIX systems administrator. I'm never intellectually satisfied. I'm a polymath, except in math.
I seek knowledge and wisdom, not certainty.
