Some things about me

edit

I prefer being referred to as X

Pronoun: They/them

I'm generally apolitical, but I have a bad tolerance for dogmatism of any sort, be it right wing BS or religious fanaticism.

I believe, despite Wikipedia's denial of bureaucracy within its management, it's very much prevalent. Furthermore, I've also experienced many instances where we overcomplicate things just because we have a bunch of policies, sometimes common sense could've provided resolution, but in those instances too, we opt in for lengthy procedural shenanigans.

I'm an existential nihilist and sometimes my edits may be suggestive of defying authoritative or governance actions, when they tend to be sleaze that's built upon conformism.

Although I've had this account for nearly 9 years now, in the past, I've made numerous edits as an IP user. I still currently do so on rare occasions when I'm not using my main device. I've also had an alternate account with minimal number of edits, but I've lost access to it and do not remember its name.

Areas of interest

edit

I have been a member of Women in Red for some time now and most of the articles I've created in this Wiki are about women, to be specific, historical women.

I've also a keen interest on scientific topics, and due to my educational background I'm somewhat familiar with certain topics relating to Biology, especially taxonomy, more specifically relating to cell divisions and Fungi, my favorite biological topic is, however, Lichens. Although, I do not limit my article creation to these biological areas. I may in some occasions create or review articles outside these topics.

Other topics I contribute to or am interested about are films, shows, music, business, startups, creative professionals, etc.

Lately I've been participating in Bengali Wikiquote. If you can understand Bengali, please contribute to that project.
