Bob Dole Memorial Ocean
editWelcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Bob Dole Memorial Ocean) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. TeleSciences clean up
editHello Atomicthumbs, I have attempted to cleanup TeleSciences page, please take a look and help make the article more objective. I have also added more Wiki Tags. If you have more details of the company please contribute. I know one of their employees who just reached 35 years of service with the company and I am hoping to get more input from him. rubywhite 20:00, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I removed Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Atomicthumbs because the page is currently blank, and it isn't showing up at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship. If you want to readd it, go ahead and do so once it's properly formed. I noticed you only have 158 edits, though, so your RFA is not likely to succeed. Most users prefer to see at least 2000 edits by editors who want to become admins. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 22:34, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Pandora (console)
editA tag has been placed on Pandora (console), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. License tagging for Image:Pandora6.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Pandora6.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:07, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Pandora big.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Pandora big.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 04:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Pandora (console), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 23:01, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Your rollback request
editHello Atomicthumbs, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Please remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism, and that misuse of the tool, either by revert-warring with other users, or simply reverting edits you disagree with, can lead to it being removed. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 20:55, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
editSuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 17:18, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
You maybe interested in the Article Rescue Squadron
editI noticed that you are part of Category:Wikipedians against notability.
I would like to invite you to join the Article Rescue Squadron. Although Rescue Squadron members do not share any official position on notability, and are simply focused on rescuing articles for deletion, you may find our project matches your vision of Wikipedia.
Caveat: I am writing this as a wikipedian, not as a representative of Article Rescue Squadron. Ikip (talk) 19:55, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. List of video game emulators
editHello Atomicthumbs,
I've reverted your edit on List of video game emulators on what I believe may be a misunderstanding; the decision to cull the list wasn't made unilaterally, but was reached after nearly a month-long dispute. During this dispute, some dozen editors on both sides gave arguments on retaining/removing entries in this list. Arguments editors gave towards culling article-less entries included:
- The list failed WP:V: The overwhelming majority of list entries had no citations which verified the information contained in the list. Most every resource available which covered affected emulators failed WP:SOURCE, meaning they were not reliable for the purposes of building an encyclopedia.
- The list was indiscriminate: Because the notability and verfiability of list entries wasn't considered, the list had almost no selection criteria with which to regulate itself, and so failed WP:CSC. One of the criteria sets outlined in WP:CSC is "Every entry meets the notability criteria for its own non-redirect article in the English Wikipedia", which editors thought best aligned with the scope of this list.
I understand your concerns about the article's current formatting being a radical departure from the table-format list of the original, and I'd be happy to get your opinion on what changes could be made on the article's talk page.FlotillaFlotsam (talk) 23:12, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
