Changes in Donostia

edit

Hello Metroxed, I wonder what the point was in your edits, since except for a data update (inhabitants at 2011) it didn't contribute anything, but you can't make a contribution while at the same time adding "citation needed", it is your own contribution, so add the source, otherwise what´s the point of adding anything? What about doubting donostiarras being called donostiarras? What's the point in "citation needed"? I have other things to do and these kind of edits just don't add anything to it and damage the article, make spend time for nothing. Iñaki LL (talk) 22:41, 4 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Line A (EuskoTran)

edit

A tag has been placed on Line A (EuskoTran), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Eduemoni↑talk↓ 19:26, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Metro Bilbao station names

edit

I'm glad to see that you've finally changed all of the Metro Bilbao stations to a standard naming convention. Too bad it's the wrong one. The normal style of suffix, that you have rejected and changed, is Name (Metro Bilbao) as used in Seville Metro stations, Barcelona Metro stations, Madrid Metro stations and in Milan, Moscow and Montreal, and all around the world. No big deal - I can work what you have chosen. Sw2nd (talk) 21:36, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your message. I was not aware of that convention; if it's necessary to change the names again I can do it, we would only need to solve the fact that there would be too many redirections, the original names of the articles and this wrong one. What do you think? Or is it ok now just the way they are? Greetings.--Metroxed (talk) 15:59, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
(I have moved your reply here, to keep the conversation in one place.) Sw2nd (talk) 03:38, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think it would be better if we converted them to match the others. Let's go through the alphabet - you start at the beginning and I'll start at the end - and we will meet in the middle. The article names you created, if you want to be tidy, could be tagged with {{Db-author}} for speedy deletion "where the author of the only substantial content has requested deletion in good faith, either explicitly or by blanking the page". That can be done later along with any other cleanup that may be required. Sw2nd (talk) 03:38, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
All moves done! Sw2nd (talk) 04:29, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Arrieta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Basque Country (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Kingdom of Pamplona

edit

Metroxed, thanks for creating Kingdom of Pamplona but I'm trying to figure out the bibliography in detail. You added a bunch of references to "Martín Duque, 2002", "Miranda García 1993" but I can't tell where you got that from. Was it from Kingdom of Navarre? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 03:41, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

You should say that in the edit summary so people know (it's a potential copyright issue) but thanks, I can add in the rest of the details about the sources so that others can follow up if they want to learn (and if there's concerns about them, people know where it came from). Thanks. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:39, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

2014 edits, imcomplete citations

edit

Hi Metroxed, I have noticed that you added a lot of references in the article "Vascones" with this and this edit, unfortunately without full citations (e.g. Knörr 2014, Fatás Cabeza 1972, Schulten 1927 and many, many more). Without proper citations, the content is not verifiable. Even though 5 yrs have past, I would still be great if you could kindly fix these citations.
