A record number of 115 producers of electronic music from Gelderland and Overijssel (two provinces in the Eastern part of The Netherlands) submitted a track to Nieuwe Electronische Waar this year. A broad professional jury judged all the submitted tracks. The producers with the best rated music productions are selected for the 19th edition of Nieuwe Electronische Waar (NEW).

NEW celebrates its 19th release on Saturday March 22 with a release party at Metropool Enschede. The compilation is presented at 7:30 PM.

Nieuwe Electronische Waar is a platform for electronic music in the Eastern part of The Netherlands. Every year NEW selects 10 producers of electronic music from Gelderland and Overijssel based on their submitted music productions. The selected tracks are released on the NEW compilation and the producers are supported for a year.

NEW is a joint project of Poppunt Gelderland, Poppunt Overijssel and BRUT. Regional collaboration partners are: Burgerweeshuis (Deventer), Doornroosje (Nijmegen), Hedon (Zwolle), Metropool (Twente), Astrant (Ede), Luxor Live (Arnhem), GIGANT (Apeldoorn), De Perifeer (Deventer), Studio Wonder, Booster Festival and of course Esc.rec.
