Nixie tubes were old fashioned display devices in the form of neon-filled tubes. The numbers inside would glow when electricity was applied. For rendering I used Maxwell Render, adjusting the lights (and digits) in post using Maxwell Render Multilight, in conjunction with Adobe After Effects. I modeled everything in Autodesk Maya. I used Allegorithmic Substance Painter to help texture. To help model the numbers I used the Nixin font by Nelio Barros
