With advertisements for the TRON sequel everywhere, I’ve become fascinated by its dark neon video-game world. And, whenever I become enamored by a wacky idea, I think about how the concept can be translated into everyday living. Believe it or not, there are several designers who are incorporating neon into classic livable furniture.

This piece was custom designed for use in a space theme man cave as a functional coffee table with a useful drawer included.r Inspired by many films and games from the genre such as Alien, Star Wars & Fallout. Made from 18mm MDF with decoration including an information panel with warning signs and classic scifi genre details. The drawer is made from birch plywood to give a warm contrast to the stark white exterior, simply push it in to pop the drawer out Measurements: 60 x 40 x 40 cm​
