Enjoy some early American folk art in the newly restored Joseph and Emma Smith home in Kirtland, OH! The house was recently reacquired and restored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after ten years of design research. The trim color is original, and at least one piece of furniture is original to the home - the dining table in the parlor. (Picture 10) The folk art on the walls, floors, tables, and trinkets was what immediately caught my attention and tickled my design sense...
