We build a solid mass limestone exterior wall construction. Building is down to a science, yet tried and true seem to last longer than to modern best. Why is that?

𝗠𝗜𝗞𝗘 + 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘 | 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗡𝗪 on Instagram: "|𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩| 𝐃 𝐄 𝐓 𝐀 𝐈 𝐋 𝐒 𝐁 𝐄 𝐋 𝐎 𝐖 ⇩⇩⇩ •applied marine grade plywood + waterproof barrier paper •cut metal lath and nailed it on top of barrier paper to secure •mixed Sakrete “Stone Veneer Mortar” to apply a scratch coat of concrete for the stones to adhere better (let dry 24 hrs) •we used @eldoradostone RoughCut (limestone veneer) in the color “Casa Blanca” •took flat stones & corner stones out of the boxes to mix colors (since there were a variety of tones) •mixed Sakrete “Stone Veneer Mortar” for adhering the stones to the structures •starting with the corner pieces, sprayed a light mist of water onto the surface and back of stone before applying pressure & held in place for a fe White Brick And Wood Exterior, Casa Blanca Eldorado Stone, Siding With Stone Exterior, White Wash Stone Exterior, Lime Stone Texture, Faux Rock Exterior, White Exterior Stone, Stone And Stucco House Exterior, Overgrouted Stone
