One of my favorite settings for Liminal Spaces would be office cubicles. These places might conjur up memories of all the monotonous days at work sitting for hours at a time and that is understandable. But as a liminal space, this is pretty damn perfect and it works so well. I've always loved the concept of labyrinths and mazes, and libraries chock full of obscure and unheard of books, and I've always loved ambient places with nothing but the low hum of nearby machinery.
