I collect vintage glassware (and fondant texture mats and trivets and plastic and really anything with a pattern that sparks joy) and hoard them in the studio until it’s mold-making time. First step is to capture the pattern using plaster, like with the simple drop-out mold in this video. Then I use that mold to make more molds for my mugs, vases, jars, etc. What would you call this pattern?
