Sambar, a vegetable lentil stew -  made using lentils, plenty of spices, mixed vegetables and herbs. 
Tiffin sambar is an amazingly delicious sambar that is usually served at restaurants as an accompaniment to South Indian breakfast items like Idli, crispy medu vada,, khara Pongal, crispy dosa, masala dosa and bonda.

In my video today, I have shown how to make this easy recipe at home for a hearty, protein packed and flavorsome meal.
I recently saw a video of Chef Venkatesh Bhat showing how to make Tiffin sambar, hotel style and I gave it a shot. It turned out well and if you have the time, you should try it out too!
