I’m often asked for tips on how to sit at a desk.  I always tell my clients that learning to sit is an exercise in itself. It takes time to condition the muscles to hold us up. 

I was someone who sat in posture one with a hyperextended back. I found that quite comfortable but I was basically hanging into my lumbar spine. 

It took practice to find a comfortable position where my front and back muscles worked together to hold me up. 

It can be useful to identify where you are right now by doing the little rocking exercise in this clip.
