Are these rates suitable for settlement or trading?
No. These are indicative rates for reference, display, and analysis. Do not use them for FX settlement, payment processing, or regulated trading. Every response includes this disclosure.
What is a "daily reference" rate vs a "live" rate?
Daily reference rates update when their source publishes. This includes ECB business-day fixes. Live rates follow indicative spot rates during the trading week. The FX page shows which currencies are live, and every response names its source.
Do higher tiers get fresher rates?
Free and keyless callers receive live rates 15 minutes late; paid plans receive them live. All use the same feed. ECB daily fixes are not delayed. Realtime adds WebSocket delivery.
What counts as a call?
One HTTP request = one call. The batch /convert POST counts as N calls where N is the number of conversion pairs. A CSV or Parquet export from /v1/range counts as a single call.
Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. Open the billing portal from your dashboard to change or cancel your plan. The portal shows when the change takes effect. Annual plans are not guaranteed a prorated refund.
Do you name the upstream data source?
We do not publish the name of the live feed provider. The source field still tells you whether a rate is live or ECB daily, so you can judge its freshness.
