A Day Full of Treats

Hi everyone! I hope you have been enjoying eh weekend. Today my card has gone to the dogs! If you like dogs, I think you will like this one.

I started with a stamped image of a row of dog houses. After coloring and cutting it out, I created a base to put it on made with Wood Washi Tape. This is a mini-slimline card so I cut a background in light blue and ran it through an embossing folder. Then I used some ink to make the embossed design pop out a little more. I glued the wood and houses to it and then began to add all the dog-gone goodness with brads. I used four different sets for this. See below for the links of all the products used.

We Heard There's Cake!

I'm back with another birthday card using our cute little dog brads. These little guys are jumping up to peek over the fence because they heard there was cake next door! I used a fence image from Cricut Design Space for this card.

There's 4 different dog head in the package and you'll find these in our clearance section at Eyelet Outlet.

Be sure and add a package or two of these fun little pups to your next order at Eyelet Outlet and come by our Eyelet Outlet Fans Facebook Group and share your project with us!  We'd love to see what you create!

Happy Birthday from the Whole Pack

These little dog head brads from the Eyelet Outlet clearance section are ALL so darn cute!  The one with the long snout really caught my eye today and I laughed out loud at his long years seemingly flying in the wind.

What else could I do except put him and his friends into a car riding down the road with the windows down!  I used some Eyelet Outlet road washi tape and also our gorgeous wide sky washi tape for this project.  Don't forget to put that sky washi tape in your cart when you check out!  You'll find a hundred uses for it and you'll love the way it feels!

Leslie's Valentine/Love Favs!

Hey everybody! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a few more of my favorite projects created with our awesome Eyelet Outlet products! We've been asked to share three of our favorite Valentine/Love projects this time, so before I do that, let me side-track you for a minute. My husband and I are Crazy Cat People. We rescue kittens and cats (present count right now is 18) and we call them our kids, lol! We have 11 inside that enjoy the outdoors in their catio, and seven more ferals/semi-ferals that live in our shed in our fenced back yard with an attached catio. Our four human kids are grown and in their mid- to late-30s with kids of their own, so we've been empty-nesters for quite some time. So, with all this said, two of my three favorites are cat-themed cards! The truth is we love all kinds of animals, so even with one dog-themed card included here, it would be difficult to list these in any kind of 'favorite' order!

My first fav is this awesome kitty card which I created in one of my favorite color combos of black and white with a pop of red. I paired our Cat Brads with our Glitter Black Washi Tape to create this purrfect Valentine or anniversary card!

My second fav is this adorable card featuring our Dog Brads and Kennel Mix Brads which I paired with our Grass Washi TapeSummer Tree Brads and Sun/Cloud Brads to create a fun scene. I also used a Paw Brad on the inside.

And my third fav is this super cute 'feline good' card which I created in a rose and burgundy color combo and features our
Fox & Flowers Wide Washi Tape on the background. I also used our Feline Brads which I paired with a Pink Enamel Heart and White Pearl Bling. As you can tell, this inside sentiment is one of my favorites and gets used a lot! ;)

What's better than fur baby love?!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun 'love you just because' card created with some new brads in the store along with several others that have been around for a while and some cool washi tape! There's only one thing better than fur baby love, and this was such a fun card to create!

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base and layering panel from white cardstock along with a slightly larger layering panel from green cardstock. I applied two strips of Grass Washi Tape to the bottom of the white layering panel and then the fun of building the scene began. ;) I affixed a Dog Brad in the center left of the grassy area, and then his house in the background along with his bone and bowl in the foreground, all from the new Kennel Mix Brads. I added two Summer Tree Brads in the background and stamped the sentiment in black ink. I added Sun & Cloud Brads and adhered the panel to the green cardstock layer.

I embellished the inside panel with strips of green cardstock and a
Paw Brad, stamped the sentiment, and layered the panel on the green cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!

Can't have too many dogs!

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing a fun card for your favorite crazy dog person! My hubby and I are crazy cat people but we love dogs too, and all kinds of other animals for that matter. This was a fun clean and simple card to put together!

I thought a brown and black color combo for this dog card would be fun. I cut a standard A2 size top-folding white card base along with slightly smaller black and white cardstock panels. I applied a strip of Glitter Brown Washi Tape down toward the bottom of the white panel and then added strips of Glitter Black Washi Tape above and below the brown. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink, added several Dog Brads and layered the panel on the black cardstock panel. I adhered the piece to the card base and added several White Enamel Dots to finish off the front.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'll see you next time!

The Country Life

Hi! It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today!

The Dog, Truck and Boot Brads from Eyelet Outlet combine perfectly to make this country themed flip card any cowboy (or girl) would love.  The three boxes are a perfect size to showcase the brads.

The digital bandana and black and white plaid combine well to accentuate the brads and the Rope Washi Tape down the side provides just the right accent.  This Washi actually has three widths of rope, I trimmed the largest to use here.

The patterns are further enhanced by embossing with a paisley pattern on the left and a check pattern on the right.

When you flip the card, you see how the three brads combine to convey the joy of livin' the country life.  I'd be pretty happy with this combination myself...though I'd prefer a little coupe to a truck and a pair of Wellies to cowboy boots...guess I'm an urban cowgirl at heart.

I've used the Pick-Up brad previously on this card and had fun with the Dog brads here.

Back To School Scrapbooking

Let's get our scrapping on today, crafters!  Scrapbooking is actually where my passion for papercrafting began. I don't do as much of it now days, but recently I've scrapped several pages and feel like I've come back to my first love!  I've seen a lot of back to school pics on social media the past few weeks and Eyelet Outlet has so many great brads for the theme!

All of my die cuts are from the Cricut image library.  The star of these pages (besides the cute kiddos) are the Eyelet Outlet goodies!  Lets start at the top left.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the bus was coming down the road.  I placed an Eyelet Outlet Dog Brad in the grass that looks very much like my niece's dog!

The new Eyelet Outlet Paw Brads were perfect for this layout, because they simulated the Wildcat Tracks above the lockers in the photo!  Of course, no back to school lay out would be complete without some Eyelet Outlet Book Brads!

Moving on to the bottom portion of the page, there's even more Eyelet Outlet goodness!  I LOVE the way our Bumpy Clear Bling looks just like headlights on the bus!  I used the print then cut feature on my Cricut to put the school district's name on the bus. A few of the Eyelet Outlet Sign Brads were a fabulous touch!  We have several different styles of these and you'll find them all in our Miscellaneous Section at Eyelet Outlet.  Don't forget to pick up some Eyelet Outlet leaf brads for your fall projects.  The one on this part of my layout is the standard size.

Side two of my page shows the kids arriving home from their first day at their new school!  By the looks on their faces, it will be a good school year!

One of the newest brads at Eyelet Outlet are the Foam Hand Brads and they, too, are a great addition to any back to school scrapbook page! There are several colors in each package, so you're sure to get your some that are your school colors!

Here's a close up of the leaf brads in the mini size that I used to embellish the photo frame. I added another stack of books.  Notice the book brads come in primary colors and also brown tones.  I added an Eyelet Outlet Enamel Arrow to my "Count Down" to the last day of school feature.

I hope you've been inspired to create some back to school layouts for your family!  Thanks for coming by today!

What Are You to Your Pet?

I love the new Paw brads from Eyelet Outlet. They are a bit rugged (like a wild animal's paws) but also seem fitting for cats and dogs.

Eyelet Outlet also has some fun Cat and Dog brads. So.... I used all three to make this card with the fun computer-generated saying on it.

To a dog you're family.
To a cat you're staff.

I Woof You

Hi Friends! kel here today to share a super fun card that I ended up absolutely adoring.

I started with these Dog Brads. I knew I wanted to make it the focus of my card, but it's so much smaller than I'm used to using as a focal image, so I had to figure out a way to make it seem bigger.

I dug out some word bubble stamps, and found this simple "woof" sentiment stamp that I thought would be the only thing a dog really needs to say to his human!! And I'd like to think that my pups tell me things with love, so stamped that sentiment as far to the right as I could so I had space to add in a pink heart brad

I finished off the card with some dark grey cardstock and some grey and white baker's twine. So cute. I think I need to order some more Dog Brads and maybe even some Cat Brads to make more of these cards... but I think the cat's word bubble might say something a little more sassy!! haha!!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

lovies, =o) kel

No One on Earth will Love You More

Puppy cards are always good to have in your stash for the dog lovers in your life.

This one combines a scrapbook journaling card with that cute Dog Brad that fit perfectly inside the *O*.  I also added some Wide Postage Washi Tape and Yellow Enamel Heart stickers to finish the design.

For my second card, I used the Pink Enamel Heart stickers together with another cute Dog Brad (there are four different designs in the package).  The Brown Measuring Tape Washi was layered slightly on top of the Wide Brick Washi Tape (love how they look together).

Puppy Love

I love using journaling cards from scrapbooking paper for card making.  The size is perfect to embellish with lots of Eyelet Outlet Products.

My first card combines Measuring Tape Washi, Champagne Jewels & of course ... some Dog Brads.

I'm also joining Cute Card Thursday (because seriously, what are cuter than these puppies) where they're creating with embossing (you can still see a little of the embossed cardstock background)

Wide Postage Washi Tape and more cute Dog Brads using a sketch from TGIF Challenges.

Remember to check out those 12" scrapbook papers for fun journaling cards for your card making.

Here is my Design Team project...
Since I am a major dog lover, I couldn't resist using these dog brads.

The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Dog- Gone Awesome set.

I cut the diagonal sentiment strip cover-up with my Cuttlebug and then I added the popped up fire hydrant in the bottom right corner.

I used the following products from Eyelet Outlet and Brads shop.
They are on sale right now...55% off. What a deal!
