The Veranda

For 3 yrs., I was lucky enough to live in one of the apts. in a modified Victorian house. My apt. was on the 2nd & 3rd floor, had stained-glass windows & a spiral staircase that wound up to the vaulted top floor. The kitchen opened onto a veranda above the covered patio. It was a sprawling, wrap-around, beautiful space with room for BBQ, lounging, friends, and container gardening. It is my inspiration for envisioning my perfect outdoor space. So therefore, this board is called "the veranda."
