Sunkissed! 💜🩷❤️🧡💛 This is my color reduction woodcut print for ART341C with @busybeeprintcompany !! I was only required to do 3 layers but since I'm insane and can never do just the bare minimum, I did five 😎 If I had to guess, I'd say I probably put upwards of 35 hours into this. I created this print using the lino print reduction technique; printing four layers of ink from the same lino print, carving more away each time. Perfect gift for every garden lover in your life! DIMENSIONS: 27x27 inches PROCESS: It all starts with a simple sketch that gets transferred to a block for carving. All the details are carved by hand using specialized tools. Once carved the block is ready for printing! We use high quality fabric ink which is rolled onto the block and then pressed into the fabric by hand. Each tea towel is printed 24 times to created a repeated carrot design.
