Diy playroom loft

We spent about 3 weekends building this DIY Indoor Playhouse in our basement playroom. The whole family had tons of fun constructing and decorating it, and the kids (and the neighbor’s kids)…

I found Jaime Costiglios over the bed loft and loved it! We decided it would be the best and easiest loft to make with adding some minor tweaks to it. We made ours 68in long but followed the other measurements. The length of the front board is 60in and the 2x4s make up the other 8in. We kept the width of the same as Jaime's link. We made the leg boards all 72in because we could not add the roof.

This has got to be one of my favorite transformations to date. I teamed up with Kenna from @thefliphubb to make over this playroom, and we did the whole thing in 3 days! Before we started the following four projects, we ripped out the carpet and painted white from floor to ceiling.
