three pieces of pink paper with white polka dots on them and the shape of a mouth

Here’s another craft we did for our Dental Health theme. I drew the outline of a mouth and gave the kids a sponge dobber with white paint. We talked about how we have teeth on the top of our mouth and the bottom of our mouth. We painted teeth into our “mouths” today. This was done by my 2 and a half year olds.

Toddler Tuesday: Toothbrush Painting | Live, Laugh, I LOVE Kindergarten

It was a perfect fine motor and sensory activity-even though not everyone was a fan of the "paint" getting on their hands :) Someone had other ideas with their tooth and colored it a little first! It was actually perfect because then we had to really "brush" to get it "clean"! Grab this printable HERE! You could also squirt some…

I cut out lips (red) and the inside of the mouth (pink) and let the kiddos glue on teeth. I had small cups of glue and Q-tips for the kiddos to use (to put the right amount of glue on). I wrote along the top "I will brush my teeth twice a day." I got this idea from this blog. She has several great ideas for dental week.
