Au jus is a French term that literally means “with juice,” and it’s a sauce made from pan juices and occasionally herbs or spices. All you need is some pan juices and a little patience to make this simple and delicious sauce.

  1. Make the horseradish sauce ahead of time by mixing all the ingredients together and putting it in the fridge for at least an hour, but preferably overnight.
